Membrane technology is versatile - whether milk, food, water, pharmaceuticals or biotechnology applications - membranes are suitable for countless applications and industries.

For more than 25 years, MMS AG has been developing and designing membrane processes together with its customers and successfully implementing them on an industrial scale.

Since its foundation in 1995 MMS has been involved in hundreds of turn-key membrane projects for industries such as dairy and food processing, as well as for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.

MMS Nordic

With the launch of MMS Nordic in Silkeborg 2018, we have been able to expand our membrane competence further. The Danish team of MMS Nordic has many years of membrane filtration experience from DSS, Tetra Pak, GEA, and SPX.

MMS Nordic handles projects direct to customers in Northern Europe, including project management, engineering, automation, manufacturing, and commissioning.

Process Development

Based on many years of experience, we provide our customers with detailed and application-specific advice on the possibilities of membrane applications. New applications can be planned and tested at short notice in the MMS membrane laboratory.

MMS specialises in development of membrane processes for dairy, food & beverages, biotech, chemical and water applications. Our goal is to allow customers to establish the solution, feasibility, costs, speed of realisation, and consequences of a novel process.

We offer a 3-step development process to evaluate a new concept.

We offer a wide range of lab units and pilot systems for rental or purchase, which can be equipped with different membrane types:
