Since 1996 the name MTE has been synonymous with innovation, accuracy and quality in manufacturing test equipment, systems for the measurement and certification of electricity meters, test equipment for testing and calibrating EVSE/EV chargers as well as transformer monitoring systems.
MTE offers a comprehensive portfolio of high-precision testing and monitoring systems designed to meet the needs of electric utilities, meter testing laboratories, industrial facilities, and meter and transformer manufacturers. With a proven track record, MTE has delivered over 2'000 meter testing systems, 20'000 portable testing devices, and more than 12'000 online DGA units worldwide, demonstrating our commitment to excellence, expertise, and customer satisfaction.

MTE’s all-embracing product range contains power sources, comparators, reference and working standards for meter testing in different accuracy classes as well as sophisticated and customized meter test systems. As a family-owned company, MTE's foundation was laid during the early stages of Landis+Gyr (Switzerland) and build on decades of profound knowledge about electromechanical meters. Nowadays, our partner EMH Energie-Messtechnik GmbH in Brackel, Germany has an ultramodern R&D and production center as well as a HYDROCAL laboratory. For its global operations MTE maintains a dense network of more than 90 carefully chosen local acting distribution companies and 3 fully owned subsidiaries in England, India and the United States of America, which are providing support and after sales services to our worldwide customers. With increasing sales and a solid customer base MTE has a track record of proven sustainability, consistency and reliability to its customers and key suppliers.
